Recently Meagan Hamsher, Joe Oberto and I introduced the seventh graders to a very powerful collaborative tool called Google Docsand we would like to share this awesome tool with you.
Imagine a tool that allows your students to work on a project from different computers at different times, or even at the same time! Pairs of students or groups of students can create, collaborate and share word documents, spread sheets or presentations. Students share their projects with you and you can grade or comment on their projects online. You can upload existing documents or power points onto Google Docs, or create new ones.
2. From the menu bar select more and scroll down to Documents
3. Create a new account
4. Select "Create New"
5. The owner of the Google Docs then clicks on the "Share" button on top right corner and adds the gmails of their partners and then let the collaboration begin
